GRDA Project
On January 19, 2000, KMEA and the Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) entered into a ten-year agreement for KMEA to purchase 39 MW of low-cost, base load power. In 2005, the contract was extended to April 30, 2026.
GRDA is a state authority in Oklahoma, producing power from hydro- and coal-fired generation.
