MEMBERS
Currently KMEA has 88 member cities across the state of Kansas. A city that joins KMEA becomes an owner as well as a member. Each full member city exercises its ownership with an equal vote on the Board of Directors. A separate committee of the Board of Directors, carries on the day-to-day activities of the Agency.
PROJECTS
KMEA actively seeks other power marketing arrangements where KMEA can match member cities’ short-term needs. With the joint action approach, KMEA members expect to benefit from a larger market presence and from a broader range of supply options from which the cities can choose.
