Dave Klepper joined KMEA Mid-States as the Special Projects Technician on September 10, 2020. He retired from Sunflower Electric Power Corporation in April of 2020. At Sunflower, Dave was the meter supervisor.
Charles Smith joined KMEA Mid-States part-time as a Field Service Technician on October 19, 2020. He became a full-time employee on May 24, 2021, after receiving his associate degree in electronic engineering technology.
Jeff Leger joined KMEA Mid-States as the Manager of Field Services on April 5, 2021. He was formerly the Controls Engineer for KASA Controls where he field tested control systems and designed industrial control system drawings. He also designed, tested, and built PLC panels along with writing PLC and HMI programs.
Daniel White joined KMEA Mid-States as the Manager of Maintenance and Construction Services on April 19, 2021. He was formerly the Northwest Substation Supervisor for Evergy (Westar Energy) and oversaw the construction and maintenance of over 200 substations in the Hutchinson, Manhattan, and Salina areas.
