The 2022 Golf Outing and Joint EMP meeting took place on June 8th and 9th in Overland Park, KS. We had 32 golfers participate in the Golf Outing at Sykes/Lady Golf Course.
The Joint EMP meeting was well attended. Members were able to learn more about the Infrastructure Bill with Amanda Wood from Becker and Poliakoff. Members were also updated on Distributed Generation and Solar Policies by Darren Prince from KMEA. Dan White and Mike Schmaderer from KMEA/Mid-States talked about the importance of a Catastrophic Failure Prevention Program. Gerry Bieker and Tom Saitta from KMEA together with Cliff Gamblin, from Foley Equipment gave a presentation about Internal City Generation, and Neal Daney from KMEA gave an update on power supply opportunities and the market.
