The City of Holton and the City of Wamego held joint training in each other’s power plants recently. Ira Harrison, Holton and Casey Frisbee, Wamego scheduled the training for their staff to become familiar with each other and each of their plants. Employees who attended were: Craig Figge, Mike Elliott, Kevin Yonke, Josh McClintock, Ira Harrison from Holton and Josh Hendricks, Larry Parker, Ben White and Casey Frisbee from Wamego
According to Ira Harrison the City of Holton was making repairs to one of their engines and offered to have the Wamego staff be involved for the experience.
“This grew into a full blown cross training effort that was a very good experience for both power plants” Ira Harrison
