Jennifer Moore is retiring at the end of December after 11 years with KMEA. She began her employment with KMEA as Director, Finance & Accounting on August 16, 2010 and her last day will be December 31, 2021. Jennifer worked in banking for 7 years and public accounting for 2 years before entering the energy industry. Before joining KMEA, she worked for KCPL/Aquila for 16 years.
Her retirement plans include traveling, spending time with her family, especially her two granddaughters Hazel and Hollis. She is also very excited about spending more time with her husband Dennis and accomplishing several projects with him, including restoring a 1947 Ford pickup truck and house remodeling.
We want to acknowledge Jennifer for the years she dedicated to KMEA and all our member cities. We will miss her energy and eagerness to help KMEA succeed.
KMEA wishes her a fantastic retirement and we hope it is filled with good health, relaxation and fun!
