The American Public Power Association (APPA) compared each of these utility’s reliability data compiled through the eReliability Tracker to the national reliability data collected by the Energy Information Administration (EIA), and found that both utility’s are in the top quartile (25%) of utilities for System Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI) based on the EIA data, thereby qualifying for the 2019 Certificate of Excellence in Reliability!
Both Randy Frazer, City Administrator for the City of Moundridge and Mike Schook, Director of Electric Services for the City of Coffeyville shared that their cities staff works very hard to maintain this level of reliability.
KMEA would like to Congratulate both of these Cities for this accomplishment!
