Jennifer Moore is retiring at the end of December after 11 years with KMEA. She began her employment with KMEA as Director, Finance & Accounting on August 16, 2010 and her last day will be December 31, 2021. Jennifer worked in banking for 7 years and public accounting for 2 years before entering the energy industry. Before joining KMEA, she worked for KCPL/Aquila for 16 years.
Gerry Stephenson has been with KMEA for over 7 years and is retiring at the beginning of December. She began her employment with KMEA as Manager, Finance & Accounting on July 14, 2014 and her last day will be December 2, 2021. Gerry’s entire career was in the energy industry. For 23 years, before joining KMEA, she worked for Missouri Public Power and KCPL/Aquila.
The City of Arma was faced with increasing costs when their substation was planned to be replaced with a load center. With KMEA’s assistance, the City was able to build a new substation and still have a lower monthly cost.
